Unique and Patented Mode-Of-Action:
EcoSMART’s plant oil active ingredients target and block a key
neurotransmitter receptor site called octopamine, which is found only in
invertebrates (i.e. insects).
Mammals do not have receptors for octopamine, so EcoSMART’s plant oils
have no adverse effect on them. Additionally, many of the plant oils used
are classified as “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) and/or are
approved for food and beverage consumption by the U.S. FDA.
Effective Against a Broad Spectrum of Insect Pests:
EcoSMART’s products provide quick knockdown and control against
a wide variety of indoor and outdoor pests.
Because the active ingredient is comprised of plant essential oils, there
may be a “floral/botanical” fragrance associated with some of EcoSMART’s
products. This fragrance is not harmful and will dissipate after a short
period of time.
